Aldrich & James on Ellen Show

GenSan Kid & Cousin perform on 'Ellen Show'
MANILA, Philippines—General Santos City kid and Internet sensation Aldrich Lloyd Talonding and his cousin, guitarist James Walter Bucong finally made it to “Ellen” on Thursday.
The two Filipinos performed Luther Vandross’s “Dance with my Father” on the Sept. 12 episode of “Ellen,” a YouTube video reportedly from the show’s website posted on Thursday confirmed.
After the performance, host Ellen DeGeneres gave $10,000, a keyboard and guitar to Talonding.
Talonding and Bucong caught the attention of the TV host-comedian after they posted their video on YouTube singing “Dance with my Father.”
On the May 1 episode of “Ellen” this year, DeGeneres invited the two to perform on her TV show.
DeGeneres is also credited for giving a break to Charice Pempengco.
DeGeneres also invited Pempengco to perform live on her show after seeing the Filipino young performer’s video on YouTube wherein she’s shown singing in a Korean TV show.
She sang Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”.
